How our learning content is made

Editorial policy

Our editorial process prioritizes syllabus alignment, primary sources, clear explanations, and visible corrections.

Useful, honest, and easy to verify

We separate official exam-board information from OnlyPrepy explanations and estimates.

Our editorial principles

OnlyPrepy content should be accurate, understandable, and useful for independent study. We aim to:

  • organize material around the published curriculum, course, unit, and topic structure;
  • explain ideas in original language rather than reproducing textbooks or exam-board material;
  • distinguish fact, interpretation, study advice, and estimated outcomes;
  • use inclusive examples and avoid unnecessary stereotypes or assumptions; and
  • write for learning, not for clicks, fear, or guaranteed-result claims.

Sources and verification

Official curriculum specifications, assessment descriptions, exam schedules, score distributions, and other primary exam-board publications are preferred. Reputable educational and research sources may be used for learning science or broader context.

Long-form articles collect third-party links in a final Sources or References section. Exam timetable detail pages are published only when a complete official primary source is available. We do not infer missing dates.

Writing and review

Material is checked for syllabus fit, internal consistency, clarity, accessibility, and source support before publication. Time-sensitive pages are reviewed when the relevant authority publishes a change or a new session.

Technology, including automated tools, may assist with drafting, organization, or quality checks. It does not replace source verification. Published content remains subject to editorial review and correction.

Calculators and estimated scores

Score calculators identify official component structure and weightings separately from OnlyPrepy estimates. Where an exam board does not publish a universal raw-to-score conversion, the calculator shows its formula, input limits, estimate thresholds, source links, and a clear disclaimer. Estimates are planning aids, not official results or guarantees.

Corrections and feedback

We correct confirmed errors as soon as practical and review related content when a mistake may affect more than one page. Material changes may be reflected in the page's review or updated date.

To report an error, email revisiontown@gmail.com with the page URL, the statement in question, and a supporting source where possible.

Independence and trademarks

OnlyPrepy is an independent learning resource and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or operated by the exam boards whose curricula and exams are discussed. Exam names, course names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
